James E. Poe Biography

James E. Poe brings a wealth of knowledge, gained through more than three-and-one-half decades of leadership experience within the financial services sector, to his current role as Chairman and founder of Senior Retirement Planners, LLC. Jim entered the financial services industry in 1970, where he found a wonderful career, but also found his professional calling. Jim held senior-level executive positions at several Fortune 50 financial services companies that are "household names" before establishing his own business, and he is a well-recognized expert within the financial services industry. Jim is a guest lecturer at TCU, and a trainer of Financial Advisors and Planners nationally, with representatives in five states. He is also a member of the Fort Worth Business and Estate Council, a section of the Tarrant County Bar Association, and does business with several local attorneys who handle wills, trusts, and estate planning for the firm's clients.

Jim and his family also own and operate Jim Poe & Associates, a registered investment advisory firm, the Institute for Mortgage Education, and AB Tax Prep Services. All of these companies operate out of the family's offices on West Camp Bowie Boulevard.

Jim holds several professional designations, among them the Master of Science in Financial Services designation.

Jim and his beautiful wife live in Benbrook, Texas. They have six daughters and six grandchildren. Family and faith are the foundations of his practice. He is in demand as an advisor and educator because of his honesty, integrity, and commitment to client satisfaction.
